Carnivàle gen fanvid! [07 May 2011|03:48am]

A tribute to the magnificent series Carnivàle. It´s not my intention to offend, but that works like these are canceled and things like Grey's Anatomy still walking on earth is something beyond human comprehension levels :D.

Dedicated to my dearest laura_escobazo , who showed me this awesome fandom. Loviuuuu, sexyl! :P

LifeEpicurean.com's Fall TV Preview: What to Watch [20 Oct 2009|05:33pm]

Though summer is the most cherished of seasons, it’s also a time for a pop culture phenomenon known as television limbo. In summer, syndication is king, and reality shows sadly take up precious primetime slots. But once the weather takes a jolly stroll down the thermometer, it’s time to return once more to your old boxy friend. A slew of shows are popping up on the radar this season, some good, some mindless slot-fillers. Get the dirt on some of this year’s new shows, along with a few returning favorites.

Curb Your Enthusiasm- Funkhowser's Crazy Sister LARRY'S BACK BABY!!!!! [21 Sep 2009|01:52pm]

I know you are as excited as I am.  Damn, Curb your Enthusiasm is back and it started off with a bang.  Nothing has changed with these characters.  Larry is still as neurotic as ever.  Jeff's morals are still just as lax.  Wanda loves to pick on Larry, and best of all the Funkhowsers make an appearance.  Check out the full run-down and review here.

HBO's Bored to Death... Well I Sort Of Was [21 Sep 2009|11:53am]

Last night HBO premiered their new comedy Bored to Death starring Jason Schwartzman with Zach Galifianakis and Ted Danson.  I really want to LOVE this show because of that cast, but last night I was bored.  I'm hoping it was only because it was the first show and what not.  Here is my full review and run-down here.

True Blood: Beyond Here Lies Nothin’ [14 Sep 2009|12:31pm]

Well another great season draws to a close.  I've got lots of thoughts and hopes about the season, the finale, and where I hope we are heading next season, (Mississippi anyone?).  I admit I'm going to miss True Blood every Sunday night.  I'm sure we will be waiting until at least next summer for season 3.  Check out my full post here.

Breaking Bad
's Aaron Paul: No 90210 in His Future

Just because Aaron Paul is dating 90210 actress Jessica Lowndes does not mean he's going to be appearing on the CW prime-time soap.

"I think there were pictures of me on set," Paul tells me about rumors he'd be making an onscreen visit to Beverly Hills.

Besides, Paul has enough work on his plate right now. Not only does he play Scott on Big Love, but he's also a first-time Emmy nominee this year for his work as crystal meth dealer Jesse Pinkman on AMC's Breaking Bad.

To say his work on Breaking Bad is intense would be an understatement...

Jesse went to rehab last season after he and his girlfriend, Jane (Krysten Ritter), started using heroin. "We had someone there who was a user for 12 solid years and he's been clean now for 15," Paul said. "It was crazy because when he was showing us how to do it, his hands started shaking and it kind of freaked him out a little bit."

For the second year in a row, Paul's bringing his mom to the Emmys. "She was just beaming last year," said Paul, who turns 30 on Thursday. "We were at the Governors Ball and Glenn Close…was leaning over the railing and dropping pieces of chocolate into our champagne glasses. We look and my mother cannot believe what she's seeing. She was like, 'Oh, my God. Is this really happening?'"

Also coming along for the big night this time around will be Paul's dad, brother, and yes, Ms. Lowndes.

Paul admits he's nervous that all his success could lead to an even bigger spotlight on his personal life. In fact, the paparazzi recently snapped pics of him and Lowndes at the Grove mall in L.A. "We were walking out of [the movie theater] and it was so strange," he said. "I'm like, 'Oh, no!' They knew we were inside."

But, he added, "You got to just accept what it is and roll with the punches."

Or use Netflix.

True Blood's Sam Trammell: Give Us Kristen Stewart! [27 Jul 2009|01:24pm]

True Blood's Sam Trammell: Give Us Kristen Stewart!

Can someone please send Twilight DVDs over to the set of True Blood?

Even though Sam Trammell, who plays shape-shifter bar owner Sam Merlotte on the hit HBO series, told us over a month ago he wanted to see everybody's favorite young vampire love flick, that's yet to happen.

"I swear to God, I'm going to do it because it's ridiculous," Trammell told us the other night at the EA Sports Madden NFL 10 Xbox 360 party. "Everywhere I go I get asked [if I've seen Twilight]. I'm going to read all the books and watch the movie."

He has, however, seen Adventureland, Kristen Stewart's recent coming-of-age comedy about a group of young summer amusement-park workers…

Trammell thinks Stewart would be a great on True Blood. "I really loved her in Adventureland," he said. "I'd love her to come on. She could be a little vampire or a victim."

While we don't see that happening anytime soon, Trammell did tease us with what's coming up for True Blood.

"I'll tell you that starting at episode six, it's utter mayhem," he said. "I turn into the smallest possible thing I can turn into and a very big thing as well."

The Wire: Season 3 [29 Jun 2007|02:15pm]

"We don't need to dream no more" Stringer Bell

I have finished watching the third season of "The Wire" this weekend. To tell the truth, I struggled a little with the season 3. It didn't "grab" me from the beginning as season 1 and particular season 2 did. But as I continued to watch so much of the whole picture and whole paradigm of "The Wire" started to develop beautifully in this season that at the end I fell completely in love with it.

More about season3

My favourite characters in a gallery of sceencaps. Spoilers

I made some icons too (I never can resist) and they are free to share. Please let me know if you need any customisation, any text added or taken away
